If you eat a raw potato you'll get a fever!

This is a real thing that most Polish people believe. We found out this week that several of the staff members believe this. It just so happens that 2 Americans (not me) decided to demonstrate this to some staff members and sure enough they are still alive and fine. :)

I am doing well. This week I get to sit at the cafe while people register for language classes. I am getting to grade the tests and I'm loving it! It really made me feel like a real teacher. Today was also our first staff meeting since I have arrived. While the meeting was long and hard to follow at times because they were speaking only Polish. I got the gist of the stuff. It was just nice to be with all of our staff together hanging out and laughing. It is NEVER a dull moment with the staff here. They are always joking or doing something silly to make us all laugh.
