I was planning on posting last night and of course I got held up studying and was so exhausted I opted for bedtime instead...so sorry! I am just days away from having everything turned in...10 days! While I'll still have to go to my practicum site....I will have the papers done.
Today was a staff development day at work. We do a yearly day where we come together in the spring and spend time learning and appreciating each other. I co-presented on values and how those values show up in our work and how we need to have self-awareness around how our values show up in our interactions with each other.
Tonight I walked around Ikea looking at possible things for Poland. Last time I furnished my apartment I hadn't thought through things well enough. I ended up buying a lot of stuff and some of it I ended up giving away right away because I had over thought of what I needed. This time I've gone through to look at options. I took pictures to keep in a book for when I move and am able to go and shop of furniture. It was actually really exciting. While maybe picking out a super simple desk or bed aren't that exciting it was neat to think about having people over sitting on the couch or eating around the table.
This post wasn't what I was hoping it would be. I had planned for a totally different one but right now this is what I've got. I'll talk more once school is done! :)
