Continued...

It's amazing how simple truths can be retold to you over and over again over in different ways in life. Everytime it all goes back to the core simple truth. I had an amazing talk with a new intern here! To put it mildly she's awesome...down side is that she's only here for 3 months! But she talked about where she is after being here only 2 days. And where she was before she came here. I could relate to a lot of that stuff. It was also some great reminders for working with the girls (I mentioned them yesterday).

I know that I am not here for a long time in the long run of things. I see that yes while I'm here God is using me in these girls' lives BUT I worry about them later if they don't have people from their own culture also supporting them. Jo tonight put it in a great way. We (her and I speaking) look at the future at a lot of things...not that it's bad but if we don't put those energies of worrying about whose going to take over and just put our energies into now...the need will be different or better later on. Basic simple truth here...Make the most of today. So to help contextualize some of God's teaching is still a priority but I really want to bathe this all is prayer right now. Another simple truth......PRAY PRAY PRAY we can't change anyone. All things I know and have heard but again the negatives of these things creep into our lives in different and new ways and you have to identify them again. :)
