Oh the places we will go...

(My bulletin board for the beginning of school.)
So Saturday has now turned into Monday. I can't believe how the days are just drifting by. Many things have been happening here. As I have shared we have the opportunity to start in a new city today teaching english. They seeked us out and have asked that we come to their school. I have been busy with my director coordinating the details. Today is the day we begin. As we begin this morning I must say that I wish my focus wasn't on my mistakes in this whole process. I got up this morning remembering that I forgot to leave certain books out for my sub (here they just aren't like the one I had in America :), haha), and the packets I put together for the teachers could have had more details and I should have planned a meeting before hand to talk about their concerns. I have always wanted to help train some teachers and yet here I get my opportunity and I am already seeing key things not in place. Thankfully they will allow me some grace. I want to instill in these teachers confidence as all of them have never really taught kids before. I also want to remember to stop and go slow. While this is my passion, to teach kids, it isn't theirs and I want to help share it with them.

I am reminded of a conversation with a friend once. Seeing people at my church back home step up for kids ministry is amazing. People step out of their comfort zones and allow God to do the rest. People who never thought they'd want to teach kids are doing it and doing an amazing job of it! So today as we drive 1 1/2 to Lodz I am reminded of this conversation. God is using these people. Having them step out of their comfort zones and he is going to use them. As this week starts off, I will try to keep you posted. Here is a picture for the road (just for your courtney).... ;)
