Wedding Bliss

It's very interesting to watch a culture in their traditions. At times if you just sit back and watch you learn so much.  I think this is a great way to see each culture...by how they celebrate weddings.  Even in these traditions you can see different sides of the people. :) I have been given the privilege to attend all of the wedding events. Beginning this afternoon. As the brides friends we arrive at her house (or wherever she is getting ready) and we give her troubles until she gives us  a bottle of vodka as payment to allow her to go to the wedding. ;) Then we will all attend the wedding which is no short ceremony (the kneeling will be interesting with my hurt knee. :) Then those closest friends who have been invited will attend the 1st reception.  This reception goes until about 5 or 6 in the morning. Apparently we dance all night. :) Then in the morning we all go home and then we come back for the Sunday reception with all of the other guests that weren't there at the 1st reception. This party only lasts until about 7pm.  Now, I don't have a date for this wedding so it is going to be very interesting to see what happens.  I won't exactly have a translator so I'm just a little nervous.

The first party is very fancy and formal. These are the shoes I am going to wear! I have never worn such high heels! I am a little scared for that. ;) When I was a little girl I laughed at the fact that I could do so many things in heels and now I am worried I can't walk down the street.

Here is the bride to be. :)
