Then I went and had dinner with another two friends. This was actually a shocking evening. I learned things tonight that I guess I didn't know about my friends. I sat in one of their homes and watched as she pointed out to me basically shrines to traditions. Even if they are shoved in an overstuffed drawer they are still kept because they are "holy." I didn't know what to say in all of this. In tonight I realized something about how I can approach ministry around here. I think it's best when I meet with one person or a larger mixed group. Just meeting with two people is challenging and I find myself speechless in this situation and not able to share much about anything. Does that make sense? :) There are things about the culture here that are hard to break through especially when you have two unbelievers together. It's apart of the culture.
