Women's Day

Some might say that this is just a continuation of Valentines day with how many flowers were given out today. :) Actually the popular flower for this holiday is a tulip. There is so much more to it than just giving out flowers. Even young guys got flowers for their mothers and sisters. Its a new respect thing. On my way home tonight I walked past several cafes and restaurants. Inside I saw groups of women sitting and chatting and laughing together. It was an amazing picture to see. Women I passed on the streets even seemed to walk a little higher and more confident! I am not one to be into a feminist mentality, and today wasn't about that. It was about celebrating who we are as women and encouraging each other and being thankful. I wish there was a way that we could bottle up the spirit that was expressed today and keep it going every day....But at least today we have a moment to experience the true spirit of a women. So women thank you for all that you do in my life and for being you...the amazing wonderful YOU that God created!
