He is transforming us to use us for transformation

WOW...Today was an amazing day. I was able to hear a lady speak today who is very involved in the missions/development world. I got there just a little late but here is what I heard as I sat down...."When I see kids saying that they want to be like me I have to think. Am I ashamed they are wanting to be like more or happy because becoming like me means they will be more like Christ." Since I work with kids I am thoroughly blown away by this statement. I know we think of impacting the kids in other ways, but had I really thought about kids wanting to be like me and if they do where would it direct them to? I am so blown away by today and I must say that it is hard to put into words the joy today has brought and renewed spirit.
