Skiing

I went skiing today. It was a very interesting time. The last time I was skiing was 2 years ago, before that 7 years. I was more scared today than I was two years ago! The mountain is one straight shot down. There aren't different slops that's it...just one. You ride up the mountain on a train and then the "fun" begins. Me being on ski's is a funny thought in general because I am so clumsy as it is. I don't usually hate skiing but today wasn't my finest day. In the middle of the first run my legs started hurting. The hardest/steepest part of the mountain they have the snow makers blowing right on you. One of the biggest reasons I don't ski is because I wear glasses. It is difficult to use goggles and glasses. Taking off my glasses means I don't see clearly after about 3 feet in front of me. :) Today I skied with no glasses. And the wind was freezing!!!! I can't remember a time that I was skiing and it was that cold. It made for a very interesting time. After 3 runs I decided to hide in the restaurant at the top of the mountain. :) My goal was to do 3 runs so after enjoying a soda and fries I decided to do my last run. All in all it was an okay time. My preference though is to be either on a beach or maybe hiking the mountain during the summer. ;)
